Celina graduated from San Diego State University in May 2016 with a B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness Specialist. She was involved in many organizations while in college, including the award winning SDSU Dance Team. In addition to her commitment on the team as a dancer, Celina also served as the Vice President in 2014 and President in 2016. She was also a part of SDSU Sport Clubs and served as the Executive Secretary in 2015.
Celina also volunteered at the SDSU Adaptive Fitness Clinic, which inspired her to look into a career path in Physical Therapy. The program allowed her to work with individuals with a wide variety of physical disabilities and give them the opportunity to reach their fitness goals.
After graduating, Celina decided to prepare to apply to Physical Therapy School and is currently completing the required pre-requisite classes for the programs. In addition to working at Symmetry, she currently teaches dance at a studio in San Fernando and is the varsity dance coach at Bishop Alemany High School.
When she is not in school or at work, you can find her hanging out with family, going shopping, or taking a group fitness classes such as hot yoga, barre, or HIIT. Her goals for the upcoming year include performing well in school and gaining more experience in the Physical Therapy field.
