Dr. Himmelrick received her B.S. in Kinesiology with an option in Exercise Science from California State University Northridge followed by her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in 2009. Kristine participated in most sports growing up in Los Angeles, which gave her the motivation to pursue sports medicine.
With over 14 years of invaluable experience in outpatient care, Kristine understands the importance of taking a thorough history to gain insight on her patients’ lifestyle, goals, and habits. She believes in treating the whole person and addressing the root causes of their pain/injury. She provides a compassionate, holistic approach to evidence based practice and guides her patients to actively participate in their healing journey. Kristine is a certified Movement Links Specialist and a level 3 Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) practitioner. These courses have been a real game changer in helping her patients recover, especially those with reoccurring symptoms that are not easily treated with conventional therapy.
When she is not treating patients, Kristine enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She loves trying new cuisines, going to Disneyland, and traveling.
